These grounds are located approximately 60 miles east of Denver along the Bijou Creek. The terrain is typical of Colorado's eastern plains with gently rolling hills. Average precipitation in October is a little over 3 inches which can be in either the liquid or frozen state.

Horses will be allowed to be picketed and there is water on site. It is requested that only locally purchased hay be fed during your stay on the grounds. Hay will be made available for purchase by the Colorado Pointer Club.
